Clear labels
Project type, experience level, estimated time, and suggested fabric should be visible before the interactive preview.
Independent sewing studio
Stitchvani helps home sewists choose realistic projects, understand print-at-home setup, and approach sewing patterns with fewer surprises.
Our purpose
Pattern projects can become frustrating before the first seam: unclear file formats, incorrect print scale, unsuitable fabric, confusing size expectations, or vague skill labels. Stitchvani organizes those decisions into plain-language previews and guides.
We publish educational sewing content and project previews. When a complete pattern file is offered, its page should clearly identify the included sizes, formats, instructions, testing status, and license.
What guides the site
Good sewing content should help a reader make a realistic decision before purchasing fabric or printing dozens of pages.
Project type, experience level, estimated time, and suggested fabric should be visible before the interactive preview.
Guides focus on decisions people actually need to make: paper size, scale, test squares, fabric stability, tools, and fit.
Previews are labelled as previews. A page should not imply that a full downloadable pattern exists when it does not.
Stitchvani is designed for adults learning to sew at home, returning to sewing after a break, or looking for useful garment and accessory project ideas. The content assumes ordinary home tools rather than an industrial workroom.
Questions, corrections, accessibility feedback, and technical issues can be sent to support@stitchvani.com. Include the page URL, project name, and enough detail to reproduce the problem.
Stitchvani is an independent website. References to software, operating systems, paper standards, fabrics, tools, or third-party products are descriptive and do not imply endorsement unless a page explicitly states otherwise.
